Yunbin is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Economics at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. They received a Ph.D. in Economics from CUHK in 2024. Their research focuses on labor economics, development economics, and family economics. Their current research agenda examines gender-based violence in intimate relationships, household behavior and decision-making, and the impact of various shocks, such as parental death, on children's human capital development. they employ reduced-form empirical methods in their work, combining survey experimental approaches with administrative and observational data to understand individual and household responses to economic and social challenges.
