APPLIED MICROECONOMICS

The research interests of this group lie in the area where microeconomic data and theory meet. We cover a very wide number of topics within that area – from labour economics, industrial organisation, family economics, consumer behaviour and public economics/public policy to applied econometrics and computational methods.

The group runs a weekly seminar with external speakers on Tuesdays at 4pm. We also have informal lunchtime seminars and a group Away Day once a term at which students and faculty present work in progress.
