The four recipients of the 2022/23 David Walton Distinguished Doctoral Student Scholarship have been announced – and all are set for hugely beneficial internships.
The Scholarship is named in memory of David Walton (1963-2006), Visiting Research Professor at the University of Oxford and a member of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England.
Congratulations to DPhil students Adam Brzezinski, Alexander Haas, Matthew McKernan, and James Moberly who have all been matched with a summer internship as part of the scholarship.
Alex and Matthew will be with the Bank of England; James with Goldman Sachs; and Adam at HM Treasury.
The Department wishes them all the very best with their internships and future careers.
