Dr Stefania Innocenti is a Senior Research Associate in Behaviour, Finance and Social Statistics at the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment. She is also a William Golding junior research fellow at Brasenose College. Her main research areas are behavioural and experimental economics, institutional economics, applied econometrics. Her research uses behavioural tools to study institutional persistence, financial decisions, labour markets’ dynamics and environmental challenges. Dr Innocenti received her Ph.D in economics from Maastricht University. She taught Prelims Microeconomics and Economics of Developing Countries at St. Peter's College as well as Economics of the Enviroment to MSc and MPhil students at the School of Geography. She also worked at the European University Institute, University of Florence, UN International Labour Office in Geneva and at the Italian Ministry of Economics and Finance.
