Lien is an economist specializing in development and experimental economics, with strong training in data analysis and behavioral science. He holds an MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics and an undergraduate degree in International Business from National Taiwan University. He has a strong interest in behavioral economics, particularly in cognitive economics, the role of emotions in economic decision-making, and the application of behavioral insights to understanding and alleviating poverty.
