Amir Lebdioui is an Associate Professor of the Political Economy of Development at the University of Oxford's Department of International Development. Since May 2024, he is also the Director of the University's Technology and Management Centre for Development (TMCD). His research has focused on economic diversification, green industrial policy, resource-based development and biodiversity-based innovation models. His first book "Survival of the Greenest: Economic Transformation in a Climate-conscious World" was recently published by Cambridge University Press.
