Adam Butlin is a DPhil candidate in Economics at Balliol College, University of Oxford. His research focuses on the implications of household heterogeneity for monetary and fiscal policy, with a particular emphasis on open-economy dynamics in response to international trade and financial shocks. He was previously a pre-doctoral Research Assistant in the Centre for Economic Performance at the London School of Economics and holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Economics from University College London.
