Role Specifications

Up to 4 posts per annum
Typically advertised in summer of each year with an early October application deadline
Fixed term 3 year appointment 

Salary in the range of £31,076 - £36,001 p.a.
Research allowance of £2500 and access to apply for additional research funding

Key Responsibilities

Advanced study and research with a view to publication in leading international economics journals
Developing and managing a research programme independently and presenting at international conferences and workshops
Teaching up to 20 hours of lectures or 30 hours of TA-format teaching per annum
Administration of teaching and research, organising seminars and workshops

About You

You will recently have been awarded or are about to be awarded a PhD or equivalent in a relevant subject from a major research university
Ability to present research findings effectively and develop the Department’s research programme
Innovative and able to work effectively with colleagues
Ability to teach and assess high-achieving and challenging graduate students
