Asad Tariq is an applied microeconomist with a broad focus on the political economy of development. His research examines public goods provision, educational inequality, and the consequences of conflict. He received his PhD in Economics from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. During his doctoral studies, he was a Commonwealth Scholar at Imperial College London and a Fulbright Fellow at Brown University.
