Zhixin Dai is Professor of Public Finance at the School of Finance, Renmin University of China, and Founding Director of the Behavioural Experimental Taxation Research Center. He is also a Research Fellow at the National Academy of Development and Strategy (Renmin University of China) and an Associate Member of GATE-CNRS (Lyon–Saint-Étienne).
His research lies at the intersection of experimental and behavioural economics, behavioural public finance, and tax compliance, with a particular focus on audit policy, taxpayer behaviour, and field experiments. He received his PhD in Economics from the University of Lyon. His work has been published in journals including Management Science, European Economic Review, and the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization.
