Jianan Lu

Jianan Lu is an Associate Professor in Finance (ESG & Sustainability) at the University of Vaasa, Finland. He previously obtained his PhD in Finance at the University of Edinburgh and subsequently served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford; followed by a Research Fellow position in University of Portsmouth an honorary Research Fellow position at Tsinghua University. Jianan’s research draws interdisciplinary links across a wide range of topics in financial economics, including corporate and household finance, ESG, FinTech, innovation, social capital, and experimental/development economics. His work has been published in leading academic journals such as the Journal of Financial Intermediation and Research Policy
