Meredith Paker is the Associate Professor of Economic and Social History at All Souls College, Oxford. Her research lies at the intersection of economic history and labor economics, focusing on mass unemployment and labor market inequality, structural change and the business cycle, and labor market structures and wages in history. Previously, she was an Assistant Professor at Grinnell College and an Economist at the Federal Housing Finance Agency. She earned her DPhil and MPhil from Oxford as a Marshall Scholar and her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia.
