Silvia Miranda-Agrippino is a Professor of Economics in the Department of Economics at the University of Oxford and a Professorial Fellow at Nuffield College. Previously, she held senior research and advisory positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the Bank of England. She is a Research Fellow in the Monetary Economics and Fluctuations (MEF) programme of the CEPR and serves as an associate editor at the Journal of the European Economic Association and the Journal of Applied Econometrics. She held visiting positions at Northwestern University and the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and was a postdoctoral researcher at London Business School. She holds a PhD from Bocconi University.
Silvia's research interests cover monetary economics, empirical macro and international macro/finance. Her research has been published in the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of Monetary Economics, the American Economic Journal: Macroeconomics, and the Handbook of International Macroeconomics among others.
