Mo is a first-year M-DPhil (PhD) student in Economics at the University of Oxford and a member of Nuffield College. Their primary research interests lie in macroeconomics, with a particular focus on the transmission mechanism of monetary policy.
Prior to joining Oxford, they served as a senior economist at the Bank of England. In this role, they advised the Monetary Policy Committee on the design and evaluation of unconventional monetary policy tools, such as the Bank’s inaugural Quantitative Tightening programme in 2022.
