Join us at the MPhil/DPhil & PRS Offer Holders' Event

Congratulations on your offer to join Oxford's MPhil/DPhil or PRS DPhil in Economics

This offer holders' event will provide an opportunity to meet fellow offer holders in Oxford, and have a glimpse of life in the Department as well as exploring the city. This exclusive event will also allow you to meet academics within our department, and current MPhil/ DPhil students to find out what studying on the course is like and ask any questions you may have.

If you are unable to attend in person there is also the option to join some of the events taking place on the day online. Please RSVP using the button below, and indicate if you'll be attending in person or online. Please note that attendance at this event does not affect your offer or acceptance to the university.

13:00 Welcome talk from the Director of Graduate Studies and the MPhil Course Director (session available LIVE online)

This session will introduce you to the Department of Economics, cover the academic content of the course, the course structure and assessment, and research opportunities.

14:00 “What it’s like: Student-led session about the MPhil-DPhil courses”, organised by our current students (session available LIVE online)

14:30 Coffee break and building tours hosted by our current student reps

15:15 Walking Tour of Oxford (virtual tour available online)

17:00 (Optional) Join us for pizza at the White Rabbit
