Statistical Short-term Forecasting of the COVID-19 Pandemic

Jennifer Castle, Jurgen Doornik, and David Hendry (University of Oxford) developed an online tool for short-term forecasting of COVID-19 deaths.

In their article Statistical Short-term Forecasting of the COVID-19 Pandemic, they elaborate on the methodology. They have further developed their research and published the article titled The Value of Robust Statistical Forecasts in the COVID-19 Pandemic which explores the use of their model for forecasting aggregate unemployment during the pandemic.
