Sir John Hicks Professorship of Economics and the Nuffield Professorship of Economics

The University of Oxford is seeking to make two appointments of outstanding scholars and teachers. One is to the Sir John Hicks Professorship of Economics and the other is to the Nuffield Professorship of Economics. Please note applications will automatically be considered for both these posts.
Applications are invited from any sub-field of economics. These posts offer the successful candidates the opportunity to take a leading role in enhancing economics research at Oxford and providing academic leadership in the discipline.

Successful applicants will be scholars of international distinction with an outstanding record of research and publication in economics, and will be able to provide excellent teaching and mentoring for students and colleagues at all levels.
