PROFESSOR JANE HUMPHRIES WINS 2019 ROYAL ECONOMIC SOCIETY PRIZE

Congratulations to Jane Humphries, Professor of Economic History, who has won the 2019 Royal Economics Society Prize for her paper ‘Unreal Wages? Real Income and Economic Growth in England, 1260-1850’, which she co-authored with Jacob Weisdorf from the Sapienza University of Rome.

The paper was published in the October 2019 issue of The Economic Journal.
