Congratulations to Jan Bakker for winning the 2019 WTO Essay Award for Young Economists on 12 September in Bern.
Jan was ranked in equal first place by the selection panel, alongside Federico Hunees of Princeton University, with his winning essay "International Trade and Regional Inequality". Jan and Federico will share the prize of CHF 5,000.
