Francis DiTraglia recognised with divisional Teaching Excellence Award

Dr Francis DiTraglia has been awarded a 2026 Social Sciences Teaching Excellence Award, recognising his outstanding contribution to teaching and supervision.

The award celebrates Francis’ work in theoretical and applied econometrics, and reflects the care, dedication and intellectual generosity he brings to his teaching. The selection panel was particularly impressed by the quality and innovation of his teaching practice, as well as the sustained support he has given to students.

Francis was nominated by Professor Johannes Abeler, Head of Department, and selected by a panel of the Social Sciences Division’s Quality Assurance Committee.

The divisional Teaching Excellence Awards recognise colleagues who have made an exceptional contribution to education across the Social Sciences Division. Award winners will be celebrated at a ceremony on Thursday 2 July 2026 at the Oxford Martin School.

Many congratulations to Francis on this very well-deserved recognition!
