Francesco Zanetti Receives British Academy/Leverhulme Trust Funding

Prof. Francesco Zanetti won a research grant from the British Academy and Leverhulme Trust for his project ‘Supply-chain disruptions, economic activity, and the effectiveness of monetary policy: novel evidence and theory’ in September 2022.

Francesco’s project will provide novel evidence on the different margins of adjustments of supply-chain relations using new data for the US and UK, and it will develop a theoretical framework to explain the data and study the role of supply chains for the effectiveness of monetary policy.

The Department congratulates Francesco on the success of his grant application and will provide all the required support for his research which contributed to the departmental research agenda in Macroeconomics.
