EMMA RILEY AND GREGORIO CURELLO AWARDED 2020 EDGEWORTH PRIZE

 

 

Congratulations to Emma Riley (Department of Economics, University of Oxford) and Gregorio Curello (Hausdorff Centre for Mathematics and the Institute for Microeconomics, University of Bonn) have been jointly awarded the Department of Economics 2020 Edgeworth prize for an outstanding DPhil thesis.

Emma, a Junior Research Fellow in Economics at Christ Church College, titled her winning thesis ‘Essays on Mobile Money Services, Microenterprises and Role Models in Developing Countries’. Her research focuses on development economics, in particular the impact of digital technologies in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Gregorio’s winning thesis is titled ‘Stochastic games and monotone comparative statics’. His research focuses mainly on microeconomic theory.
