We are delighted to share that Alex Teytelboym has been awarded the title of Professor of Economics. Alex is also Tutorial Fellow at St Catherine’s College, and Director of Oxford University's Business Economics Programme (OUBEP).
Warmest congratulations to Alex on his elevation to the title of Professor for his contribution to the department. Alex’s research interests lie within market design and network economics. He is also interested in the applications of economic theory to many policy areas, including environment, energy, and refugee resettlement. He first joined Oxford as a graduate student from the LSE in 2008, completed his MPhil in 2010 and DPhil in 2013 and returned to the department in 2017 after postdoc stints at MIT and INET.
