The Department of Economics would like to congratulate Marc Witte on being awarded the Unicredit Foundation Prize for outstanding job market paper.
The Unicredit Foundation 5th Economics Job Market Best Paper Award is open to PhD candidates and PhD graduates from the following institutions: Barcelona GSE; Bocconi University; London School of Economics and Political Science; Mannheim University; Oxford University; SciencesPo; Stockholm School of Economics; Toulouse School of Economics who are participating in the Economics Job Market 2018/19 during the American Economic Association Annual Meetings.
Marc’s paper entitled ““Job referrals and strategic network formation - Experimental evidence from urban neighbourhoods in Ethiopia” has been selected by the Foundation’s Scientific Committee as one of two outstanding job market papers in the competition.
The winners receive a prize of €2,000 and have the opportunity to present their work during the annual Symposium of the Spanish Economic Association (Job Market session) which will take place in Madrid from 13 to 15 December 2018.
