Alex Teytelboym appointed Oxford Policy Engagement Network (OPEN) Leader

We are delighted to announce that Associate Professor Alex Teytelboym has been appointed as an OPEN Leader by the Oxford Policy Engagement Network.

Alex is one of two OPEN Leaders successful after the most recent call for applications, and will start project activities as soon as possible. The project will run for 8 months.

The mission of the Oxford Policy Engagement Network (OPEN) is to enable members to share knowledge and expertise with the policymaking community so that, together, they can contribute to better policies that protect what is valuable and change the world for the better.

Alex’s project is a true reflection of OPEN’s mission, and is a step forward in helping Early Career Researchers in the domain of policymaking and thus, networking with other researchers and professionals. The project encompasses development of a Policy group in the department, which will aim to help in improve visibility and reach-out to all members in the department working in the domain. Additionally, a series of seminars have been planned to allow high-quality and impactful policy work to be presented and thus, helping in better engagement and interdisciplinary research.

We congratulate Alex on being selected to take a leading role in the OPEN, and the opportunity to help drive an inclusive, supportive culture of policy engagement among staff and students at the University of Oxford.
