Karlijn Morsink is a job market candidate in 2017-2018 and will be interviewing at the AEA meeting in Philadelphia (ASSA) , the Royal Economic Society Meeting in London (RES) and the Spanish Economic Association meetings in Barcelona (SAEe). She is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at The Centre for the Study of African Economies (CSAE) and Blavatnik School of Government (BSG).

Her research uses intra-household and behavioural models as the basis for the empirical investigation of individual decision-making within households and groups in developing countries. The methods she uses are randomised field experiments, artefactual field experiments, and lab experiments.
