Prior to joining Oxford I completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Cambridge and worked for two years as an economist at Goldman Sachs. I have been employed at the Bank of England as an Academic Visitor and intern for the past two years.
My main research interests are in monetary economics and communication. My job market paper concerns central bank communication strategies. I use machine learning and text analysis tools to evaluate the narrative information central banks publish. My other research focuses on central bank reaction functions in the face of uncertainty.
