Professor Melissa Dell awarded Clark Medal 2020

Professor Melissa Dell from Havard University has been awarded one of the most prestigious and eagerly anticipated American Economic Association awards, the John Bates Clark Medal.

The Clark Medal is awarded annually each April to that American economist under the age of forty who is judged to have made the most significant contribution to economic thought and knowledge. Professor Dell has made major contributions to the field of political economy of development. She was a Rhodes Scholar at the University of Oxford from 2005 to 2007 and was awarded a Distinction in the MPhil in Economics. You can read more about Professor Dell’s research and career here.
