The Introductory Economics course is taken by PPE, E&M and H&E students in the first year of their course, MEM students in the second year, and EEM students in the third year. The course covers microeconomics, macroeconomics, and the mathematical techniques required for micro and macro. Students who have not studied mathematics up to AS-level, or equivalent, should also attend the Elementary Mathematical Methods lectures.
