Research Interests
Summary: Development Economics
Development economics, applied microeconomics, poverty and risk.
My research includes theoretical work on the normative foundations of chronic poverty measures, and the consequences of measurement error for such measures. My main interests are in applied microeconomics; including work on the impact of risk and shocks in the long and the short term, on consumption and human capital. I am also interested in intra-household issues and child development.
