Paul Klemperer to give British Academy Keynes Lecture   13 October

This year's prestigious Keynes Lecture at the British Academy will be given by Professor Paul Klemperer on;

"Creating Competition: New Auctions for Public Policy".

The lecture will discuss new auctions, including those now running at the Bank of England, as well as other potential applications.

Date and Location: Thursday 13 October, 6pm at British Academy. Further details can be found on the British Academy website.

The Keynes Lecture is an annual series, proposed by the economists within the Academy and inaugurated in 1971. The lectures are devoted to an up-to-date survey of theoretical research and trends of thought in the field of economics. In recent years, the lectures have been followed by formal discussion.
