Clarendon Lectures in Economics 2008

Timothy F Bresnahan, Landau Professor in Technology and the Economy, Stanford University, will deliver this year's lectures at 5.30 p.m.on Monday 3rd, Tuesday 4th and Wednesday 5th November. The first lecture will take place in the Gulbenkian, St Cross Building and thereafter the lectures will be in the Manor Road Building Lecture Theatre.The title of the lecture series is: ‘Entrepreneurs, Large Firms and Innovation’
Lecture 1: Network Effects and Competition. This lecture will be followed by a drinks reception in the St Cross Building
Lecture 2: Positive Economics, Welfare Economics, and Competition
Lecture 3: Entrepreneurial and Large Firm Innovation in Open Systems
