The Department’s placement officer is Professor Marcel Fafchamps. If you wish to participate in the academic job market, bear in mind that the process begins in Michaelmas of your final year. In particular, your job market paper must be ready by then.

Some of our graduate students take on fixed-term postdoctoral positions after graduation. The more familiar of these includeBritish Academy postdoctoral fellowships, ESRC postdoctoral fellowships, and postdoctoral/junior research/career development fellowships at Oxbridge departments or colleges.
